I forget how many tickets Wimbledon supporters got, but they had at least 5 times their average gate, and Liverpool got significantly less than their average gate. I think the FA may indeed have upped the share to other parties, which again, is out of order.
I think most supporters can live with 2 tickets per non-participating clubs. The figures being quoted are ludicrous though.

Well as a player of the round (1st) Krissy Commons will be there - he's scored 4 goals in the last two games for us btw. Including his 2 from today, a 30 yarder on his right followed by a 20 on his left, he's a left footer.

It looks like Joey Barton could be on his way out.

Or more likely, his ticket will end up on the black market.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
well once again VDS put in in a world class performance.. at a few of the corners he just flapped at the ball and dropped it and instead of punching the ball out of the area he flapped it down to the ground
Sure Rio was injured but when we needed a world class save, something everyone keeps telling me he does, he just ended up kicking thin air.. surely a keeper if his so called class shouldn't be beaten at the near post like that
We brought on Giggs in the second half, a player who is meant to be playing the best football of his career and he just went through the motions as he has done several times this season

So what do you think of his save from Viduka, in the second half then?

If Van der sar would have been on his near post, and Viduka puts it the other side of him, you would have criticised him for that too for leaving a gaping hole on his far post. As Mal says, what about the save in the second half from Viduka, seemed like he stopped a certain goal to me.
You can't blame Van der sar for every goal Man u concedes. You seem to be looking for every little error the bloke makes, instead of looking at what he does well.

I don't blame him for all our goals this season but he has been at fault for alot of them and was still guilty of flapping and not dealing with corners or crosses
sure he did a good save but even Kushzak and Foster could have done that and neither of them would have flapper at balls earlier
for a so called World Class goalkeeper when we needed a decent save he wasn't there

I seem to remember a classic flap from Schmeichel, I think that it was at Juventus, he came out for the ball over a couple of players, flapped and missed and they equalised. Now, even he had times, where you were going "oh, for f's sake", but you did realise that even the best have bad days.
The problem with goalies, that is more noticeable than for the outfield players, that they may only make one mistake in the whole match, but that mistake usually ends up in a goal. A striker may shoot, but the ball ends up in row z - you've not lost the match. A midfielder/defender may miss a tackle, but someone else tackles the opponent - you've not lost the match.

A lot of Man U supporters' frustrations about goalkeeping, has been going on now for the last 8 years. Look at who they have had to replace. Schmeichel was the best keeper Man U have had, for as long as I can remember. Kuszczak is far from the finished article, from what I've seen. And Foster made a howler himself yesterday, passing the ball to Darius Vassell, for City's opener.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Did you see Foster's mistake at the weekend? What would you be saying next season if he does that for Utd? Or if he lets in a goal like he did against Spurs?
