Just to say that after contacting microsoft about crashing issues with the sons xbox they came out trumps imo.
I contacted customer services by email, they replied suggesting I try the usual steps to resolve the issue but contact them again if it did not work.
They dealt with my follow on call efficiently, emailing me a label to send the xbox back by ups, about a fortnight later we had another xbox through, which seems to be working a treat
Well done microsoft on this one

The Xbox Support Team is, to be honest, consistently good IMO. The only thing that fails is the ‘lotteryâà ¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ style refurbished consoles that are returned that might/might not work.

Glad you had a good experience with Microsoft CS. Anytime i've had to deal with them they have been consistently poor, normally resulting in me being put through to the offshore call centre and having real trouble in even understanding the rep.

Another good report from me as well, xbox picked up via UPS and I had a new one 10 days later, can't say fairer than that (apart from it being an old console but its working well)
