So did I lol. It's not usually like me to post, until all the results are in, nearly slipped up there.

Well, at least you posted, unlike some. *cough* BBKing *cough* carlingman *cough*
Having watched the highlights, I'd be more inclined to worry about the defending. A poorly defended freekick, and Crouch, of all people, turning a defender in the box, with consumate ease.

Hopefully.
Next week they are likely to get stuffed 7-0 though.
But as the Chairman keeps on saying, CUFC are the Manchester United of the Conference
If that was the case, we would be top of the league

Oh.....Far be it from me to drag up old posts but........
Neither of which turned up today, apparently.

Not on the day and late but us Arsenal fans are still here.
Nothing left to play for this season.
Well apart from looking smug at the end of the season when Chelski buy another title from Man U.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
another lucky win the Chelsea at the weekend.. add in their win against Everton they won right at the end.. plus Wigan too
i hate that stupid board they put up for injury time.. i made it about 30 seconds but they put on 4 mins and scored in the second.. if that match was in the 70s it would have just ended on time or a token 10 seconds

He certainly is but whenver you hear on the news that a match has had some brawling in it, you automatically think of Arsenal

Didn't that turn out to be the winter vomiting bug (yeah i know it was summer!) and it's likely one of the staff brought it in (probably caught it off a germ factory / kid lol) and they already had it before they went to the hotel?
The incubation period is 36 hours so that's possible.

Time will tell.
And you can put money on me quoting your post, should we land the sacred prize.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
More misery for Arsenal fans, their youth team lost 4-3 on aggregate in the FA Youth Cup semi final second leg last night.
Oh, nearly forgot to mention, they got beat by United.
Jim.

Well yeah - but whatever he does off the pitch is his own business

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Bobby Charlton you really are a hypocrite, when it comes to pots calling kettles black, you are without equal
Real Madrid would like to sign the 22-year-old and Barcelona have also been linked to him, although Ronaldo has insisted he is happy at United.
"They link themselves to whoever they feel fit and it's not right," United legend Charlton told BBC Five Live. "I don't think it's a correct way to go about their business."
Wonder what his views are on Man Utds transfer policy then, earlier this season Owen Hargreaves was successfully unsettled, last season it was Michael Carrick, not to mention past transgressions involving Diego Forlan and Paul Ince etc
What does the old duffer want, one rule for them and another for everyone else

But Real Madrid link themselves to every single player that is playing well at any given time. If you look at the list of players linked with Real madrid compared to United there would be a huge difference, and i'm talking about players the club have stated they are interested in, not the papers. You have mentioned four players and they are four players United were and are actually interested in buying unlike Madrid who seem to do it to unsettle the player as in most cases they never try to sign the player.
