Unhappy recording cable channel

had digtal box installed today, also have a dvd player and vcr connected,my problem is i dont seem to be able to tape off the digital box,any idea what the problem is .

How have you got the STB connected to the VCR & DVD? Scart leads or a RF (coaxial aerial) lead? Have you tuned the VCR / DVD to the STB output channel if using RF, or alternatively if using scart are you setting the right AV channel on the DVD /VCR? You can only record the one channel being output, and many of the VOD type channels cant be recorded.
