I-Web Solutions
does anyone know a telephone number for I-Web Solutions, which I believe host Cable forum (ot at least did). I know, although not official, there is/was a close relationship between the 2 parties (i.e. discounts for members etc).
My site has been blocked for over 24 hours, and despite emails & support tickets being lodged, the site is still down, and repeated requests for contact, including giving my mobile number, has proved fruitless.
Normally they respond very quickly - but not now, and this is costing me money. They quote 24/7 support, but I have yet to see it today!
In hope........
Lee

yep & yep!
Site only shows address in Hindhead, and directory enquiries does not return anything under i-web or anything similar. Can't find any telephone numbers on site.
Almost tempted to drive to Hindhead!

Re: I-Web Solutions
There's this thread from a few months back. It doesn't exactly instill confidence?

Re: I-Web Solutions
your site is down because you have exceeded your bandwidth limits.
Can you not log in and purchase the next package up?

Re: I-Web Solutions
Cable Forum have not had any connection with I-web for quite some time now, and I'm not even sure if any of the staff/owners even visit anymore.

I purchased the next package up yesterday, and was hoping for an immediate upgrade. Paid through paypal - so they have had the money. But still no resolvement of the issue, or more worrying, and comment from I-Web.

If a DNS update is needed for your new purchase, then it may take a couple of days?
- otherwise Adam or Willy may prefer you to comment in their forum

Have pm'd Adam through their forum (was waiting for them to authorize me to post). This has now come through (typical, they can approve forum members, but not answer queries (although to be fair, not the same people!)).

Re: I-Web Solutions
Because I-Web have their own support forum and do not post over here very often so posting here is actually doing nothing positive at all to help the situation. I must admit though there are days when getting a response on the I-Web solution forum is near impossible but I find a PM to the necessary people on here and on there helps since they still have their PM notifications turned on.

Re: I-Web Solutions
Lee,
I can see willie responded to your ticket (re: the wrong domain in the ticket so your account couldnt be identified.)
I can also see your upgrade, however it appears that you didnt check the spec of the packages, as the account you have upgraded to has given you no more bandwidth allocation. The upgrade was instant (just checked the logs).
