Samsung 2110c Error Codes

Hi, I had a new samsung 2110c fitted around 4 weeks ago, and apart from having to do a reboot, it will at times stick on whatever channel it was left on say overnight. No problems with sound or picture. When this happens it wont respond to the remote, nor will any of the buttons on the front of the box work.

It seems that the only way to force it to work again is to unplug from the mains supply to reboot the box. Does anyone know if this is currently a nationwide common fault with samsungs?

The overall speed of the box is fine, it's just the problems in having to keep rebooting.


I am also currenty getting a few error codes not on screen but in the Technical stuff page of the new Virgin Media Software.

Press Guide > Scroll Down > 8 Settings > 6 Technical Stuff > Page down red / page up green.

Hi, No i haven't phoned faults just yet, reason being? I was hoping that i may be able to get an answer on here first, just incase anyone else on here has had similar problems or there happen to be any VM technicians that might be able to advise, mostly as into what the error codes mean?

I have the same problem in bournemouth the box it self is good..but the error codes..they tried to do something at 7:50 this morning (302) post-rs error 80 570750..what ever that means.??I AGREE ANY HELP WOULD BE USEFUL. THANKS.

Faults sent a few refresh signals, touch wood seems to be fine at present.

Although at least this answers my other problem i have had with regards to the reboot issue.

samsungs always seem to have post error codes just means the box was trying to get the signal correct etc nothing serious could check cable is ok dont look lose or kinked ?

sometimes your have days with no error codes some days loads will pass by
dont worry about them unless box goes seriously OTT
