VM threatens BSkyB with High Court action...

Hi all,

Apparently, this isn't going to silently blow over any time soon.
Virgin Media have just announced they're...

Quote:
"seeking remedies including the supply of Sky’s basic channels at a reasonable rate, as well as fair payment from Sky for the broadcast of its own channels, which include Living and Bravo "
...and taking BSB to the High Court. That's if a solution isn't
reached within 30 days (woo..another deadline!)

Looks like the NCC aren't amused by either side (not suprising
- Sky Snooze? funny, but come on). Hopefully, whatever the
outcome of this, it may serve to level the playing field somewhat -

Quote:
"The National Consumer Council last week accused Virgin Media and BSkyB of "behaving like children", and said it was considering asking for a review of the digital television market in the wake of the row."

Its refreshing to see Sky on the receiving after all these years of their bullying. Sky need to understand they are no longer able to use the monopolistic strength to bully other companies.

Let the WAR continue
