On demand - What's Available

Is there any way of finding out what's available in on-demand. I understand for example Babylon 5 is, but I can't find it.

If I go to on-demand, tv hits, a-z and the look at the a-c programmes I can only see 7

10 years younger III
Alias series 4
Alias series 5
balls of steel
best of the word
black book
bleak house

If I go round some of the other entries such as 4od I can see more, but you almost seem to know what's available where.

If babylon 5 is still available could someone please let me know where it is.

Cheers

If you press on demand button then press drama it is in there. You have to go down the list and you will find it.

I would love it if there was an online listing of the content, it would save trawling the several menus. does anyone know of any existing list or proposals for one. If not maybe we should lobby Virgin and get one going.

I agree, it can be quite painful looking for something you know is listed, let alone just browsing the lists.

With over 500 films there should be an easilt searchable database on the interent that you could scroll through. I've serched the VM website but can't see anything.

Just looked at V central... It rubbish...but on demand is great considing the freestuff you get. WHy don't they put all the free stuff on V central? While VM is buying up content, they need to push this stuff - for eg, I was watching an office xmas special...that's not on central anymore, but hidden in on demand...why?

There is a reason things are difficult to find. That is becuase while you are looking for one thing you notice others and think about them and think about purchasing them.

It's the same with the way Supermarkets change their shelves around. So when you go to find what you knew was in a certain place last week has moved, you spend time looking at other stuff you didn't want while looking for the thing you do want. It's called Advertising.

Enjoy it.

Edit* No doubt someone somewhere will make a websire listing whats on, how to find it and where shortly. Patience is a virtue

That's ok...but;
1 - they're trying to retain people on the fact that they have some good stuff there (instead of SKY ONE)

2 - I'm looking for free stuff...I wanted to watch a free channel!!
