Re: Red button
Ignore the red button, just press the on demand button (if you can) as the few crappy old things on 119 and 120 are in there anyway.

Re: Red button
Nor working here on channel 119 & 120 or Sky Movies 11 where you have to enter your PIN to watch movies before the watershed.
Pressing the red button on SM11 brings up a box in the left hand corner of the screen which says "loading please wait, press blue button to cancel", once that disappears then nothing, cannot enter my PIN.
Call support who said that 119 & 120 issues should be fixed on March 5? and as for SM 11, they reset my PIN and told me to reboot, but still does not work. VOD etc....all works fine.

Re: Red button
It seems as if it depends who you talk to on the phone. I`ve had this problem for 2 weeks since my v+ box was installed. The stb upstairs worked ok but not the v+ box.
I rang up everyday and got numerous different answers. This mornings was a classic, the cs told me it was to do with accounts and my credit limit.
I`m a patient sort of person who never loses the rag, so I asked would it be possible to speak to a tech. After speaking to the tech, he worked out that the viewing card hadnt been registered with whatever it should be registered with. He done that, told me to wait 30mins, reboot box and hey presto it suddenly works.

Re: Red button
Red button on Virgin Central not working in Manchester 41. Been given 5th March as date it should be fixed by. Mind you they also insisted that all interactive is down....mine works on everything but Virgin Central.

Not only the same but all of the episodes, not just a few, can't see any point in Virgin central when all it contains is a tiny part of On Demand, unless OD is not availiable on all tv packs.

Re: Red button
My red button didnt work for 3 weeks after having my v+ box installed.
Called CS numerous times and got told all sorts of different things, finally got to speak to someone who knew what they were on about and he said it had been a national problem with some installations and he would get a 2nd level tech to look into it. He said this would take upto 15 days.
Anyway, 3 days later at 9.30am this morning i get a phone call from the tech saying 'Ive sorted your problem, you need to switch off your box for 5mins, and then it will download some new codes to get the red button working'.
Switched off, waited 5mins, back on and low and behold red button now works on all channels.
If its just not working on channel 119 then this is a national fault which they are working on.
If its not working on any channel, ie bbc interactive etc, call CS they need to look into it, and keep calling until its sorted.
