Attention LOST fans
As we are aware we Virgin media customers have seen the withdrawal of Sky one. In common with many the only thing I will miss is the occasional Simpsons but mainly LOST.
I read this today in a Active home newsletter -
Sky uses its Sky One channel to broadcast many of the most popular shows, such as 24, Lost and The Simpsons. However, Virgin Media has managed to buy the rights to broadcast the hit series Lost directly from producer ABC.
Anyone know when we get this - there was no date mentioned?
I seem to recall Virgin saying they were going to add LOST to VOD.
Michael

Re: Attention LOST fans
I suspect they mean VOD. Only one company at a time will have broadcast rights. Unless ABC have cancelled their contract with Sky, which I doubt as we would have heard about it.

Re: Attention LOST fans
As it says the ONLY downside is that we will have to wait to see it, my daughter is already talking of the various sites on the web where LOST can be downloaded!

I hadn't realised LOST was on VOD already as pointed out above - 99p per episode!
This had better change very soon - it's outrageous to charge us per episode for something I could watch free last week.
My daughter's websites may be due checking!

Re: Attention LOST fans
The 'very impressive package', I don't think I have seen any other VOD (apart from films) which show a charge

Re: Attention LOST fans
I can feel ANOTHER call to customer services coming on - anyone else have to pay for LOST on VOD?
Mind you I've already seen series 1 & 2 so maybe that's a battle for another day!

On my 4oD section Lost is under pay per view which shows Desperate housewives 1 & 2 and LOST for 99p per episode

Mine too, and I'm on VIP. I did notice that there are things like ER and OC (though still ppv) etc available on my Samsung (old EPG) that aren't available on my V+ wtih the new epg - so the two systems don't seem to be matching up yet.
