What a start to the Reading Man Utd game, after 6 minutes it was Reading 0 - 3 Man Utd!

True, but Reading did play well, people don't give them enough credit.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Well Reading got what they deserved which is nothing. In the first match they both put out second string teams, however United had a European Cup game three days later, and are in with a very good chance of winning the Premiership. Tonight Reading still didn't put the full 1st eleven out and paid the price, United have a very important game against Liverpool at the weekend so again fielded 9 second string players. Reading are safe in the league, have only an outside chance of European competition, so why the hell didn't they give it their absolute best shot in both games.
Good, open, clean, exciting game, without any of the petulance that certain sides bring to the game.
Jim.

Did Howard Webb do a Graham Poll tonight? Did he book Bikey twice and not send him off or am I imagining things?

Possibly, it was De La Cruz that got booked first, Bikey was protesting about that, rather than being booked himself apparently

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Great goal, the ref was poor all night though, should have been a pen to Arsenal in first half.
Cannot believe we sent him to the World Cup, I think he has his yellow card glued to his finger, no wonder he booked one player 3 times.
Jim.

So that'll be a touchline ban for Wenger then...
I loved this bit:

Is it just a coincidence that you have 20 men who have a brawl and only the Arsenal players were guilty?
