Re: Any Discounts?

Phoning up and threatening cancellation can concentrate their minds.

Be aware that Virgin / NTL / whoever are often guilty of "package creep". You may find that you're signed up to an XL package even though you started off quite modestly. Check the channel listings for the M and L sizes, and downgrade if they suit you better.

Yeay.. it just goes to prove that it can be done.

Both Virgin AND Sky have forgotten that the customer is king. It's a good time to remind them!

If you've had your answer on another forum and if the only answer you'd be willing to accept is yes then why bother starting a pointless thread.
VM haven't made any official announcements regarding discounts for loss of the Sky channels and that they'd be directing the money saved into VOD.

So far as making you look stupid, well...

Because i didnt have an answer on another forum.

Does everyone talk to each other like there idiots on this forum?

Yestoday it was my spelling and grammer (Sorry for been partly dislexic).

Today its for asking a question that i didnt have the answer to when i asked.

I mean common, you think i posted the thread because i had the answer? I didnt know, i asked, i managed to find out myself, so i come back to update the thread and ive got big red text saying No, which was actually incorrect.

Re: Any Discounts?

Q: So Virgin Media customers are be worse off?
Yes. Virgin Media says it has no plans to cut its prices to compensate for the loss of the channels - saying it still offers good value, and citing around 2,700 hours of on-demand viewing.

Re: Any Discounts?

Do as I did and say your not bothered about Sky channels, but Sky broadband is much cheaper. Got £20 pcm of my bill or upgrade to VIP package with a £25 pcm discount for 12 months
