BSkyB and Virgin Media executives are to meet again this week in a bid to hammer out a carriage deal for Sky's basic channels before the current contract ends next week.
Executives from the two firms met on Monday and will meet again within the next few days as they attempt to reach agreement on the price Virgin Media will pay for Sky's basic package, which includes channels such as Sky One and Sky News.
