the guy who'd cut me off had sorted out a deal but needed confirmation so the lady I spoke to third time sorted it out.

Moved from
XL tv/4mb BB/Basic Phone at £56.50
to
XL tv/4mb BB/Talk unlimited phone/extra set top box no install charge at £51.45

Also she took down a complaint about the unhelpful 1st lady I spoke to and was generally very helpful.
So thanks for advising me to call again
So that's XL tv/4mb BB/Talk unlimited phone/2 set top boxes all for £51.45, just how did they break that down? The deal I'm on is the same pack except Talk evenings and weekend for total aprox £65.
I've done sums adding to 3 for £30 and come up with £30 + £10 to upgrade BB to L + £9 to upgrade TV to XL + £14 to upgrade phone to XL + £10 (I think) for 2nd STB total £73, am I missing something or a you on a retention offer?

The online calculator is confusing, doesn't allow upgrades on 3 for £30 in easy manner, no option to upgrade to XL TV or L BB.

Why can't they make the pricing EASY and have consistent pricing. The offer last month (which I'm on) is different, and difficult to compare with, this months offer. What will it be next month???

When will we get transparent pricing?

Just be careful that they don't start charging you for talk unlimited after 3 or 6 months! I got an offer last year, and after 3 months it took another 6 months and a package change to get a correct bill.

Looks like you got a good deal.

no extra charge for talk unlimited after 3-6 months cos we been a customer since 99.
plus they probs look at how much we use the phone normally, and thought, give me the service cos they'll not use it much!
aslong as its cheaper, and I get a box for my room, its all good
