Looking for an mp3 player

Hi

I am looking to buy a MP3 player that holds at least 1000 songs, I don't fancy buying an ipod and am not really interested in playing MP4's does anyone have any recommendations i can take a look at ??

Have a look at the Sandisk Sansa, i've just got an e270 (6GB) which is great, its a little bigger than the Nano but doesn't need any software to put music onto it as it's just drag and drop
The 4GB one should hold around 1K tracks depending on compression and is around the same price as the 2GB Nano
expansys do them at a resonable cost, about 112quid

Another option is a PSP, it can play mp3s (you can turn off the screen to save battery life.) and play games as well (I use this when I travel around europe for my job.)

Got a samsung 20G player in black, J70 or something. Very good, long battery life... Can't find it though ><

Im looking for a new one myself. I have owned 2 Creative Zen Micro's and have both of them play up with the headphone jack problem.
