questions on starview cable receiver box.
my friend bought a starview cable receiver box,he said he can watch all the channels before,but no he can watch nothing,who can tell me how to upgade the software,and where to get the software?

Nope it's an illegal box and will not work on NTL legally.

It's easy. Tell him to call ntl's Customer Service and ask to upgrade to the channels he wants. However he might find them asking questions as to how he got hold of the box, seeing as they are all nt's property and nobody is allowed to buy them.
We don't permit the discussion of obtaining services without paying for them here.
