Reporting a Vandalised box
On Saturday I phoned NTL to report the NTL box in my street had it cover removed (a Knobbley green plastic)
I got through and told them the location of it and they thanked me and said that it would be put as a piority.
The only thing I have seen is that some plastic sheeting has been put over it.
I also saw that in an adjasent street there NTL box has no cover.
Can anybody here help?

Re: Reporting a Vandalised box
i know this may seem like a silly question - but can a green box being uncovered affect the set top box / bb? I've been having mild issues with tv reception...

Re: Reporting a Vandalised box
Yes, it can. There are amplifiers and such in the box that really should be protected from the weather. Also, as the box is open, it's possible that someone has (or will) tamper with the equipment inside and may ruin the service for everyone who's cable is attached to that box.

Re: Reporting a Vandalised box
Well two weeks have gone by and still NTL haven't done anything to the boxes, despite a second phone call.

Re: Reporting a Vandalised box
Well the week after I reported this I phoned again and also reported that another box had te same thing happen to it.
Today the one in he other street has had the proper case put on it and my one nothing.
Well if we lose TV/BB/phone well cancel (sod the 30 day) and go to sky
