Sending e-mail problem

Husband cannot send e-mails and gets the error "Cannot find Server smpt.ntlworld.com" then "keylib error: #15-> file missing"

We have even tried re-installing but as the paths for the files are very obscure we do not want to do a complete fresh install as we may lose any files as there is a lot of information that needs to be kept.

Googling this it seems to refer to Incredimail. Is this the program you're using?

The most common suggestion seems to be installing the latest version over the top of the existing version, i.e. not uninstalling first.

Tried that and nothing happened at the time however since posting (and going to the shops) it has all started working again

Looking at things though, it appears he has not been able to "send" mail for a few months. One would have thought he would notice before now

Just curious is that a typo, or the actual error message?

since it should be smtp.ntlworld.com
