Why do you want the job? what do you consider to be your strengths & weaknesses? What do you feel you could bring to the job? Are you on the sex offenders register?

Standard questions for every decent interviewer to use, I've had them fired at me before.

I bet its

Have you a driving licence.

Have you been in jail.

When can you start.

In that order

Honestly tho

Just be yourself and answer truthfully anything they ask you.

I just had a interview with NTL for my new job and that took just over 1 and a half hours.

Split between technical and human resources questions

Sex offenders register??? Lol! Thanks for the reply. Did you get a job with Ntl with those questions's? Are the questions different if you get the interview through Kelly Communications compared to Ntl directly? Do you reakon i'd get those ''describe a difficult customer situation & how you dealt with it'' type of questions?

Thank you for the reply.

If its Kelly's then it will be a supervisor who interviews you from Kelly's. The interviews tend to be short but heavy. If you can show a ability to learn and are willing to work you should be OK.

Re: interview for a Residential Installation Engineer with NTL..Help!

One thing i've wondered about installation Engineers jobs...can you take your company van home with you after work or do you pick it up before shift? I really need to know that one because i have to work it around my family's need for our car!

As long as the pay is good & possibly overtime is paid, i don't have a problem with long days! ( i might regret saying that!) lol!
