Zone Alarm and Wireless Network

I hope this isn't too stupid a question..but when connected by cab le to internet I click on 'Stop Internet Activity' on Zone Alarm when leaving the comp for security. If I am on wirelessly and do this does it disconnect any activity the same...Just asking as the lights on the Router still look like there is activity when I do. Just want to be secure when I leave it for a while.
Also don't want to disconnect from the Wireless connection as it seems unable to let me back in for some reason.

Not too silly to ask this I hope.

Chrisann.

Re: Zone Alarm and Wireless Network

I think you'll find that the 'Wlan' activity light stays on/ flickers whether there are any connections or not.
IMO it's probably overkill to block the firewall completely while your away, esp behind a router firewall. But it shouldn't do any harm either.
