Question Proxies & Throttling?

Will changing proxy help side-step NTL's nasty speed throttling?
Are there NTL proxies which should be avoided? ie poor performing ones.

Is it best to choose an alternate, that is geographically
close?

I am on brig-cache-6, caches 1-5 give proxy server not found in Firefox!

Thumbs up Re: Proxies & Throttling?

Brighton proxies are working again. Cache3 gives 53-5600Kb/s, compared to 3700Kb/s on default, cache-6.
Edin-Cache-2, gives over 6700Kbps!!!!

Re: Proxies & Throttling?

FYI there is no 'default', the site you access determines the proxy used.
