Firefox Query

hi all, strange thing happened between last night and today,
I have FF 2.0, a couple of themes and addons installed on it, yesterday everything was working fine on it. all my bookmarks, extensions, history - the lot, all worked grand.

Came in this morning, and it was if, i did a brand new install of FF.
It revereted back to the default theme, removed all my bookmarks, and history.
When i wnet to the Add ons section, all the info was still there and when I told it to use the addon, restarted FF, it did not change the theme. Plus all my proxy settings were missing as well as My Bookmarks

Anyone have any ideas that can help me get those back?

Re: Firefox Query

With firefox closed, go to start->run and type firefox.exe -ProfileManager in the box.

Should confirm that your only running with one profile, and that you've not accidentally created another one.

Re: Firefox Query

Close all instances of firefox and try running 'firefox.exe - ProfileManager' see if your old profile is still there - sounds like a new profile has been created somehow.

EDIT: /slap Jon T

EDIT: For reference sake, all command-line commands are listed at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Command_line_arguments

tried that, and there is only the Default Profile listed.
FF now though is not applying the themes that are installed, it says they are currently being used, but nothing.
any more Ideas?

Re: Firefox Query

This happened to me the other day, but after i rebooted it was all back to normal, it was very weird.
But i'm still on 1.5 cos i prefer it to 2.0, so not sure what that was about.
