Is VOD ever coming to my town? (Hemel Hempstead)

Sorry to be a impatient s*d

Can someone in the know, tell me when VOD is finally being rolled out in Hemel Hempstead Area?

I know it says late 2006 on the VOD availabilty checker, but im hoping there is someone in the know that can tell me when? and why it has taken soo long for this town to receive it? What dictates when VOD is rolled out, apart from the state of the network in the town?

I thought the network in my town was in good condition, as i have always had full speed ever since i joined NTL (about 3 yrs ago.)

I know im being impatient, but its frustrating reading all these posts about VOD

I want it now!!!

NTL are doing a great job, they would be doing even better if they roll out VOD this month and perhaps another small request, they pop me on the 20meg Trial as well!!!

Dont want much do I?

VOD im really interested in, i keep thinking my setup has somehow not been updated or ive been missed lol.

Anyone else in Hemel Hempstead got VOD??

AFAIK Hemel got shafted big time by the Buncefield fire... but it IS getting VOD soon.

Thanks for the reply mate.

My internet did go down for a couple of days when Buncefield happened, but since then its been faster than ever, so I assumed it wasnt a massive problem?

Maybe im wrong.

What!?! A company (and ntl of all people) actually calling a customer to get a fault resolved! Amazing!
