NTL e.mail login - definitive answer please :)
Hi guys - still having a few e.mail probs so can anyone tell me if the new NTL login' no longer permits account names and passwords to be stored for automatic recognition?
For some reason each time I login now I have to enter the entire account name and password for each account. Sometimes XP asks if I want the relevant password stored but even if I do this, the next time I try to login to that account I am asked to enter the entire account name and password again.
Not exactly user friendly I must say
Cheers guys

NTL Webmail - Richy. We haven't got round to sorting out another service yet. Don't use it much but this sign in malarky is becoming a pain.
Cheers

Username and password for forms are stored in the browser. Unless the URL or field names change then it should work unless you are on a secure page or have selected the do not save option previously. If you are going through the new website login you could try going straight to http://webmail.ntlworld.com but if the problem is with previously saved details then click into the usename box and before typing anything press the down arrow on the keyboard, highlight each stored username and press the del kep on the keyboard for each.

Cheers guys.
Have been trying to sort this but to no avail. Tried deleting the account name and re-entering it along with the password but this makes no difference. At no stage does the 'remember me' button appear so although the account names are stored, the associated passwords are not. Dohhh!!!!!
someone help me please.................

Go to Tools>Internet options>Content>Autocomplete and make sure "prompt me to save passwords" is ticked.
As a last resort you can clear saved forms and passwords, but that does mean losing everything.
