The latest stb...

As the title suggests really... what is the latest stb.

I currently have 10meg and dont want to loose my sacm. Am I right in saying I could ask the installer to keep both as ultimately I am the paying customer.

At my other half's parents at the mo, and they have a snazzy Samsung stb... but the telly keeps changing to NTL... lol still a snazzy box thou...

I would have thought you could keep both as none of the STBs can handle 10 meg as to what box you get well that all depends on what they have on there van that day

Re: The latest stb...

It seems that the Samsung is better than the Pace and as such Samsung is the preferred box

If they don't look good, you can always hide them, as long as you find a way to get the remote working.

Im thinking of getting it yes but not untill I am satisfied they can charge me for my bb accordingly. I was just curious if there are any models I should avoid but apperently they all work fine.

You don't get a choice of models...you get whatever the installer has on their van - that may be both pace and samsung, but maybe not.

Re: The latest stb...

Well I rang up and asked a note be put on to have a Samsung box. The installer came out today and I asked him for a Sammy... sure enough he gave me what I asked for but had no note from the original CS guy I spoke to.

Good CS skills by the installer in my book as I am ultimately the person paying the bill and the customer is always right.
