I may actually be getting one for work. I was going to get a mac pro, but I don't see the point in 4 processors that will be idle most of the time. A Macbook pro would be nice for working from home

and Daniel your a nasty 1 mate....getting 1 of those babies for at work, let me guess you gonna push the boss for the 17" 2.33 Ghz model with what was it 2 gb of ram?

Perhaps not the 17", as I do plan to travel with it. But deffo top spec

So are Mac underclocking the E6600 or do they have there own cpus made? the E6600 runs at 2.4 gig stock and the Mac offers 2.13 ( E6400) and 2.33 (god knows)
