London Grid for Learning

Could anyone do me a favour and see if they can access the London Grid for Learning at www.lgfl.net.

It's run by a consortium of London LEAs and provides a broadband service for London schools. Amongst other things it seems to run many of the school websites. Unfortunately I'm finding it impossible to access any site run by LGFL; no error messages or anything, it just eventually silently gives up the ghost. Bromley Council say they have no problems accessing it and I can successfully ping it, so I'm now at a complete loss.

Works fine from where I'm sitting (Cambridge). Could your problem be related to this message on the home page?

The e-learning content grid has undergone a face lift but all your favourite links and more are still there.

Thanks. I'd say it was just me, except my daughter-in-law, who's also in Bromley, says she can't access it as well (which is what started this whole thing off).

Are there any other things I could do to try to solve the problem?

I've never tried it before yesterday, so it's not really possible to say.

Not yet, but I'll give it a go. Perhaps the wonder Cardiff proxy will come up trumps again.

Amazing!!! The Cardiff proxy (62.252.32.11) again triumphs over all adversity! However, can anyone explain to me what exactly is going on here?

I did have a cable modem installed on Monday.
