Wireless interferance

I currently use an old Sitecom 54g wireless router which to be honest, has never let be down, how ever (there's always a how ever) the router does interfere at times with my Digisender gold, causing line flashing down the screen. I have set my digisender to one end of the channel range and set my router to the other which normally shows no sign of interference, but at times it drives me nuts. Switching on any of the pc's in the house (4 of them) does not seem to effect the digisenders signal at all so I am wondering whether the routers signal is operating on to wide a channel range. It is also impossible to switch off ssid broadcast on this router, so could this be the problem.

Has any one else had this problem and do you think replacing my router to a newer spec would cure this problem. If so, when wireless router would you recommend. I have seen a Netgear WGR614UK in Argos which I could try (and hopefully take back if it makes no difference)

Why not change the channel the Wireless uses? You can pick from between 1 to 11.

Try 1, 6 or 11 to start with as frequency wise they are the furthest apart.

As I said in myy first post, I have had to seperate the channels, with the digisender on channel 1 and the router on 13. I have now bought the Netgear so will see how i get on.
