Grab a gmail email address and forget trying to get NTL to co-operate, it's not going to happen. 2.7Gb's sotrage on a gmail account, with fre POP3 access
Hi,
Thanks for your reply and I know it's a solution to the problem but I objet to paying for a service from NTL which I am not getting.
I have already done that and it does work very well! .... but I think NTL should fix their problem for all of us that are stuck in this situation .... instead of leaving us to cope with it.
We are paying them to supply our email service so I should deduct some money from the bill? .... or *they* should as *they* can't supply the service!
I have just phoned the NTL Broadband Support line on 0845 454 0000 to report the fault.
They cut me off once after 20 minutes while I was waiting for the fellow to come back with the results of his checking the problem.
Then I phoned back and had to get in the queue again and I went through all of the name address etc. and reported the problem again.
This time I was told that it had nothing to do with NTL and I should email an account of what is going on to
I'm going to email them and see what they come back with?
When I contact NTL it appears that they don't want to listen to the problem and they won't acknowledge that they have a problem. It took me a couple of goes before I could get even a ref Number from NTL for my calls reporting the fault.
If I get any significant answers from Yahoo I will come back and post them on here.
