Need TV code for TW silver remote.

I bought a silver telewest remote for my NTL STB so that I can control my STB from another room with a remote extender AND control the TV volume.

IT WORKS PERFECTLY for what I need - BUT it doesn't control the TV volume at the moment because I cannot find the correct code for my BEKO television!

(I know it works because I can control the volume of my main TV when I put its correct code in - similar to SKY remote)

Telewest have reponded to my emails and been helpful up to a point
"The various codes can be found in the pages linked at:
TeleWest User Guide"
but this user manual only gives the codes for basic TVs - not mine!

The updated user manual also says a full list of TV codes is available by selecting the following options on your STB:-
"Home screen", "Telewest Services", Technical Services", TV Control Codes"

Unfortunately I am with NTL not TW!!! so cannot access the information!!


Is there anyone out there from TW reading this NTL forum who can access this information for me? I NEED TV CODES FOR A BEKO TELEVISION.

PS. I have put this in NTL forums cos there doesn't seem to be much activity in TW forums!!!!

Well Steve, moving my original request to the TW forum seems to have stifled all responses. This forum has had no activity for over a month!!

Does anyone have the TV codes for the silver remote for a BEKO television as per my original post?

hi i found some code that might work with your tv 2 setup just do this >> press and hold v+ and mute for bout 3 secs untill the green light flashes then let go and enter 0514 then ok then try it. please let us no if it works
