Well picking up on the approaching them bit, women are rarely on their own. I find the worst situation is trying to approach one woman when she is with one other friend. This is always difficult because the other tends to be a bit jealous if she is herself intersted, on the other hand the friend could already be in serious relationship and doesn't want guys coming up and chatting.

Its fortunate that women generally hunt in packs, I prefer to singleout my vctim from a pack before I pounce. It can also be very difficult as women sometimes give the come on, drag you onto the dancefloor, hands all over you. (back in 5 mins off for a cold shower) uhum... Then when you touch in return or ask for their number, they suddenly announce they have a boyfriend.

I appreciate its very difficult, it does however get better with time and age. I could never talk to women when I was your age, but things will just click because after you have had one, its like riding a bike you never forget how the chatting/flirting thing is done. I was in a bar recently and a much younger and very attracive girl kept looking at me and she was being very flirty, playing with her hair and lifting her legs ie: rubbing them together standing on one leg etc. I didnt make a move because I guess I lacked confidence, she looked and I looked each side and around to see who she was looking at. I didn't make a move because I thought "No, that young pretty girl can't be looking at me" Who knows if I had made the move what could of happened.

Apart from a clip around the ear from my girlfriend!

kornie as i think coggy said it will happen when it happens..... don't be in any rush to get into a "series" relationship, at times they can seriously be more trouble than they are worth. it won't necessarily build your self confidence, some relationships can actually destroy it.

theres me thinking being optimistic at times is a good thing, my confidence can go lower, its already low, but i would rather meet new people, even if i dont meet someone who i can have a relationship with i can still keep in touch with people ?

yes, but im not wanting a 'quick relationship for a few months not a marriage or long term' as one put it.
