Question After Installation

Have installed the ntl cable modem fine for use with my laptop running xp pro, but when I installed the software for use with my pc using win me i get this annoying microsoft networking user and password box appear how do i get rid of it?????.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, you need to go to Control Panel, double click Networking and change the primary log-on to Windows rather than Network.

If that makes sense? Been a while since I did it and I'm running XP now.

Go:
Control Panel
Networking
Change primary LogOn from 'client for windows workgroups' to 'Windows Logon'
