Re: Weather Wrong?

Because it is a different weather station?
It does say current neares observation, which has an asterisk.

it then says something like *Nearest weather station located at Lat: 41.8264, Long: -87.6412. Observed: 0600 GMT Mon 19/7/2004.

Re: Weather Wrong?

Because it's the minimum forecast temperature? Where as the current temperature is actual? Well that's the only thing I can think of Then again it is the BBC/ Met office so accuracy is never guaranteed

Re: Weather Wrong?

Currently it's using a station in Georgia to give temperatures from.

Re: Weather Wrong?

so 67 miles by road from Atlanta to that weather station. So you would guess that the weather would be about the same.

Thats a pretty good site Paul

The minimum temp is just what was predicted (forcast) - the actual temp is .. well just that - the current actual temp. This actual could also go higher than the predicted maximum.

Re: Weather Wrong?

my point is that you would expect the predicted to be revised once the current temp was out of the predicted bounds?
