Port Scans

Is there any viable reason why i should get port scans from somebody i know after i visit their site?

The site in question is just a small one hosted on this persons computer, after leaving the site on two occasions i got port scans on 2846, 2854, 2856, 2857 and 2858 and the second time 2846, 2854, 2856, 2857 and 2858.

Anybody know what this person might want to do through those ports?

Other than that im getting scanned by some russian address....its got to be dodgy then Does sygate personal firewall block the scans (if possible) or simply report it?

Cheers

Re: Port Scans

I'm not aware of any particular worm or anything associated with those ports. Your firewall should block them as well as reporting them.
