E-mail not responding in Warrington

E-mail not responding in Warrington
I'm getting a variation of e-mail problems I don't recall before .. my client is logged into the POP3 server but never gets any further, it's been sitting there for 10 mins at a time happily waiting, this has gone on for the last hour and a half. Usually in the past connect fail and timeout, this is different.
As usual there's no status page info .. anyone any ideas? I don't see a recent e-mail problem thread here so is it local to me?

Mine is ok - I got my usual quota of spam as well this morning. 
You could use the webmail facility to see if there is anything in your mailbox that might be locking it up.

If I knew how. .. in the 2 years I've had BB, or the year before than on ISDN, I've never once tried to access my mail via the webmail service. Guess maybe I need to learn how. :o
Thanks both, for at least confirming it's not a system-wide 'issue'.

Been having problems since last Thursday. Just hangs for ages, sometimes times out type error/can't connect, other times kicks in eventually, this is send & receive
