Panasonic have launched a couple of DVD recorders with 120 and 160GB hard drives. Don't run down to Dixons yet though because they haven't told us what the price is If its under 500 you can get in the queue behind me

they better have SCSI HDD's in them because we all know how crap IDE HDD's are for recording streaming video

eh??? my wonderful sky+ box works a treat and that has an IDE Drive can watch a program while recording anothere as well really cool!!

Same with the Tivo as well.

It used to be true about IDE drives not being suitable, but the technology has developed.
