Re: What was the last book you read?
Just finished Fool's Fate by Robin Hobb.Read it Friday until 5 am Saturday morning. Finally a happy ending for the hero.
Before that I finished Pandora's Star by Peter F Hamilton.
I am now reading a book on David Bowie, another on J.M.WTurner and one on The Pre-Raphaelites whilst dipping into another book on Pablo Picasso.
I'm getting all cultured up here.
Incog.

Ah, yes, volume 12 (or is it 13) in the series. As I understand it, Lahaye provides the theology and Jenkins the command of the English language. One of these days, I must try a volume to see what all the fuss is about.

Reading LOTR's at the moment (nearly done), too much bloody singing.
Preferred the film's (Awaits backlash).

Re: What was the last book you read?
Having greatly enjoyed Perdido Street Station by China MiÃÃâ€*’©ville, I am currently nearly at the end of The Scar. Unfortunately, like many sequels, it doesn't quite live up to the original. After this, for light relief, I've got a history of the Hundred Years War by someone whose name eludes me at the moment.
