Hiya All

Just got the new CR3 update today and its buging me, I have the following setup which worked perfect untill CR3 Update

Goodmans TV Twin Scart and Frunt Phono
Pace NTL Cable Box
MicroSoft Xbox

Connected as follows

Cable Box Into 1st scart on tv (for RGB)
DVD player trough Snd Scart
Xbox In frunt Phono

Befoure the update i could just Turn off cable box and the screen used to go static (no arial attached), and then i could Play my xbox (after changing to phono input)

Now when i turn Cable box off the screen is black and nothing can use any input.

to play xbox i have to do the following

Turn Off Cable
Turn On DVD
Turn Off DVD
Turn On Xbox

I have played with the scart switching in options and setting it off i just get a unsync'd picture and no sound from cable box.

Anyi idea's guys

Hooray! My copy of the guide has finally turned up.

Maybe delays in getting the guide out to all subscribers in the Andover area were the "operational problems" that have been referred to.

Oh well, here's hoping the update will be sooner rather than later.

my Interactive does not work i looked at the Diagnostics Menu and its 5 connected i get error code is002

rings ntl as its either provisioning prob, either interactive is not active on your account or not correct on ntl systems

i called ntl and they said they would reprogramme the STB and call me when its done but they did not callback

I didn't get a letter yet, but I have been upgraded (Nottingham). First impression is: do I want this 'miniguide' showing up when flicking through channels. Internet appears a little faster, but I never used tv internet anyway.

There's loads to explore, I suppose, and a new interface to get used to. Better wait for the booklet

The fabled booklet is only a few pages long, and very cleverly manages to tell you nothing

Try channel 120 instead.

It looks like channel 120 is geared towards the general public.

Any idea's about my scart switching problem, do any others have this problem. and if it is a problem with the new update. when will it be fixed?, everything worked befour.

i was wondering when the ntl interactive services will be updated. they were meant to be upgraded, with a new look + more features about 2 years ago!! it was delayed because of cr3 taking such a loooooong time!

will in be all updated this summer, once everyone has got CR3 (par from london)?

The general consensus is that when everyone has CR3 then more interactive services will become available (e.g. red button, new-look PlayJam, etc.). There has been no official word about when this will happen, i.e. in terms of an actual or approximate date, but in time for Euro 2004 would be nice!

i know about the etv releases...they'll be excellent from what i've used already on cable.

but, i meant the interactive...ntl's own interactive sites, the stuff you get when you press Interactive. 2 years ago they said that will have a complete overhall...but nothing has happened the same style has been used for 4 years now!...it's really dull and slow and not very user friendly.

hope it gets changed soon...
