Question Dial-up not working today

Anyone else having trouble connecting their modem tonight?

I'm assuming it's just a temporary fault getting through to 08005190600.

Anyway, off for a good drive in the Skyline to forget about these poxy computers laters.

J

Ah that's better

Hi all. It's still like it so on an 0845 atm. No worries but it's a bit of a pain checking half a dozen email accounts with web mail!

cheers,
J

Re: Dial-up not working today

Yeah - using Webfusion 0845 so paying local call rate . Still engaged today.

Any other numbers I can use (i'm in Nottingham)??

As we're on a BT line and the exchange is now adsl enabled we'll be offski as soon as I decide which ISP to go with. There is light at the end of the tunnel! And it's not an oncoming train...

Angry Re: Dial-up not working today

Oh how I can't wait to get onboard with a decent ISP.

Still no joy with that number so it must have been removed for good now. Also tried 0808 9909877 - "The number you have dialed is unavailable". Oh just feckin great.
Ok then, have it your way - install your nasty little dialer on my PC so I can see what number is being dialed and use that one in DUN.
Well, it would seem to be the same number as after installing this piece of sh*te it still does exactly the same. Arrgghhhh!!!

So it's still 0845 for the time being. I'll sort adsl during the coming week (just be my luck to have a poor line or be too far from the exchange. Yeah, just wait).

If anyone in Notts on a BT line knows a number that works i'd be happy to hear from you.

Cheers.
