Thoughts on GameCube games

Well since I still haven't finished Prime (or Eternal Darkness), I'm looking for thoughts on good Gamecube games. Once again I want to dust the little doorstop off and put some time into the console.

I was thinking of getting Ikaruga because the reviews are really good for a good ol' classic game like that (although I'll be waiting for stock wherever I get it from)

So what good games are currently available aside from what I've mentioned above?

Ikaruga is the most frustratingly hard game ever. I guarantee u won't see level 4 for a LONG time lol.... You could get Splinter Cell or Hitman 2 if u haven't played them yet.

Unfortunately, I have SC for XBox and Hitman2 for PC and played and beat them both ages ago.

Any other games you'd recommend? Obviously I have Zelda (still in its packaging cause I refuse to open it until I finish Prime!), but wondering if I should just wait for Viewtiful or is there some other GC exclusive game worth getting?

well if u got some surfing time on your hand I recommend a few places to browse, www.gamesradar.com. www.gamespot.com, and www.gameplay.co.uk - they all got up and coming games listed. Viewtiful Joe ain't out till October and it sold out in Japan as they underestimated how many they would sell. It looks and sound really good.

You got Resident Evil 4, Mario Dash and F-Zero GX coming out soon enuff. Also Conflict Desert Storm 2 out in September too. Most games are 2-3 months off then they come thick and fast.

sort of but its used alot in fights

I heard the Directors cut got panned. I loved the original sonic. I suppose I need that GBA hook-up to tele thingy-ma-bob (not to mention a GBA and a Sonic game!).
