Re: ntl broadcasting over channel five

When you reboot it press up and down (I think, it's been so long) on the front of the box then and change the channel it outputs on.

Re: ntl broadcasting over channel five

ok, maybe I missed the point here, but why not just watch Ch.5 on the STB ?

Re: ntl broadcasting over channel five

In that case you could feed your arial direct into the VCR, and then the output of the VCR into the STB and then the STB into the TV - that way the RF output of the STB will not affect the CH.5 recording on the VCR.

Re: ntl broadcasting over channel five

This is what Pem's on about:

So long as your TV is connected to the STB using scart leads then you don't need to worry about the STB's RF output channel much. But, even like this, it could cause a little interference. The best solution is to call customer services and they will talk you through adjusting the channel.
