In philitopia, there would be no need for anyone to put in more work than anyone else.

While the democrats today sit underground stroking a white cat, cackling. John Kerry looks the type to do that.

All that said, there is something to be said for M$'s own suggestion to the EU, which was rather than forcing them to remove WMP, they should have been forced to add Quicktime and Real Player.

As long as you force Apple to bundle the others too, and UNIX companies to bundle IE for UNIX, and so forth.
It is ridiculous. You want to use laws to further your vendetta against Microsoft, not to bring "choices" to the consumer. The consumer already have choices, and Microsoft is just making it incredibly easy for consumers. Something they have always done (and Linux has not), and now the Microsoft-wannabe's are all upset because they can't possibly create as good a product as Microsoft.

I would *GREATLY* object if RealPlayer is installed. It is CRAP. PURE CRAP. And I'm sure some had spyware too.
I would also greatly object if QuickTime comes with the system, because the free one is crap. I have the store one, and I want that one.

Mac programs made by Microsoft aren't as good as ones made by apple.
Maybe it's to do with the fact the company makes the operating system, or maybe microsoft just aren't that good. Maybe apple are keeping secrets from them.

They wouldn't necessarily have to be installed per se, the installer would just have to be on the system and then installed at the users request.

Re: Realplayer 10 released
If you force Microsoft is bundle quicktime then osx would have to come with WMP.
Its not fair to stop microsoft doing bundles while other companys can

I would object to that too. I don't want any files on my system that I don't need or want. HAving senseless installers somewhere on the system is stupid. I don't want it.

No, there would be nothing more to give, they would have everything they could ever need already. The concept of greed is unknown in philitopia.
