What's wrong with vh2? Tis a popular channel, surely people would be happy to see it come to ntl?

I for one would be happy to see VH2 on ntl.
From what people have said, it sounds right up my street.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where they force you to watch it.

Re: VH2 to launch on Telewest
well i can't say i would want it, but isn't that the aim of ntl: to try and please all?, they can't do this by leaving out channels that a few people don't like Big Brother E-TV plleeeaaassseee, (dont think this will happen cus a rollout for LCR3 in one area is in June )

Re: VH2 to launch on Telewest
Well they sure don't please all people by choosing to omit certain channels (don't get me started)

I am sure they don't choose to omit these channels, just that they can't come to some agreement abt them

VH2 is in *slightly* higher demand than the channels you're referring to. I'm sure Sam B said this was either the top or second highest requested channel?
Search if you wanna find out, she said it on here a few weeks back, I'm sure.
In business you have to please the majority whilst trying to not completely blank the minority. Although, obviously you're never going to be able to please all people.

It's certainly a channel I'd want to have.

Re: VH2 to launch on Telewest
I would imagine that FX is the other channel people are requesting.
Indeed, the aim is to please as many as you can as often as you can but choosing to completely ignore one genre is going to displease people who might like to view/listen to channels which come within that genre.

Re: VH2 to launch on Telewest
The real problem is that TeleWest always seem to be in front !
Last year and mainly due to a campaign in this forum NTL added Sky Sports Extra *AFTER*TW had done so and here we are again ->>>>>
We all want VH2 - I even e:mailed VH last week asking what they could do to get the channel ON NTL
Come on NTL - prove to us that 1,000,000 subscribers are RIGHT and add VH2 to the line up - preferably today
[and why not add FX while you're at it & before TW gets in there first again and not for the only time

I wouldn't agree with that. Ntl have got quite a few channels that telewest currently don't carry (Sky One Mix, Sky Travel, Amp, Flaunt, Scuzz)

Was Sky Sports Extra not launched at the same time on both Ntl and Telewest?

Re: VH2 to launch on Telewest?
What's so great about VH-2 anyway? Isn't it just pop-rock stuff?

VH-2 [and VH-1 and VH-Classic] are great if your ears can't get on with the Post_Techno_New_Wave_Contra_Romantic_Gothic_Grunge _Rock ou get on MTVx
