faults number?
What is the ntl number to report a fault (ex C&W, Watford)? My bill only shows 0800 052 2000 as a general customer service number but no specific number for faults. When I call 0800 052 2000 they tell me that the office is closed. I seem to remember that there used to be a 24 hour faults number... but I can't find any reference to it anywhere... can anyone help?

Re: faults number?
If you hang on with that number it should connect you for emergency telephone faults...
Actually gives you another number to dial (just rang the c/s number) 0208 353 3793, hope this helps

Re: faults number?
Thanks for the reply. I was wanting to report a TV and Internet fault, though. Do you think they can handle those on the emergency telephone fault number?

Re: faults number?
151 used to work from an ntl phone line.
Fortunately, havent had a reason to try it for quite a while My ntl services have either been "reliable", or issues that I have I know that I just have to put up with it as it is like iffy email connections at times.

It does still work but you get the same message as ringing the 0800 052 2000 number. After 8 pm it's only emergency telephone faults but tech support are open till 11'ish (I think) to help with Broadband problems

Is 0208 353 3793 is a general technical support number? The recorded message says it is only for people who have lost their phone service totally.

I've now seen a message on the server status webpage at ntlworld.com that says there is a fault in my area, so it is is a bit academic now... but the two are related: no interactive services on the TV and no Internet through the STB.
It would be nice to be able to find this out without going via the Internet though, especially when it isn't working!

I see you are in the Watford area. There's a "local major outage" in Watford, Amersham, Aylesbury and the surrounding areas and it still seems to be down this morning...
This has got to be the first major problem I've had on NTL in the 2 and a half years I've been with them! Exciting stuff.
