Possible virus
I have received two e-mails in the last two days one from "noreply@ntlworld.com" saying:-
Dear user of Ntlworld.com gateway e-mail server,
Our antivirus software has detected a large ammount of viruses outgoing
from your email account, you may use our free anti-virus tool to clean up
your computer software.
Advanced details can be found in attached file.
For security reasons attached file is password protected. The password is "18447".
Best wishes,
The Ntlworld.com team
and one from "management@ntlworld.com" saying:-
Dear user of Ntlworld.com gateway e-mail server,
Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content)
outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by
a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe,
follow the instructions.
For further details see the attach.
Best wishes,
The Ntlworld.com team
Both have attachments. I have used mailwasher to preview the main e-mail.
Are they virus attachments or real?
