Should I bother calling CS
I've had for over a year now the 11pm jitters, had the PACE box replaced when I first complained but the problems continued - it's now an annoyance that I deal with, but that's not what I'm writing about.
Basically the guide is slow/unresponsive not working, and all channels lately only give me two hours notice of what's on so I can't set any reminders outside of what I can commit to short term memory. Basically it's all a bit poo and useless.
So is anyone else having these problems (South Wales, Swansea) or is it just me?

Re: Should I bother calling CS
I have the TV service, and yes the guide is a little poor
I am used to sky, and swapped for *reasons* and find it ok, but the guide is total pants
Locks up, no particular order, very slow....
Your not the only one
Ringing CS is free, so therefore not a bad idea I suppose

Re: Should I bother calling CS
Bah, but if others have the same problem there's no point in ringing CS as I'll get the "turn it off for ten seconds and turn it back on".
I'd much prefer for the underlying issue to be sorted, meaning have the service run as it should do.
Perhaps we could bill NTL for copies of the Radio Times and big red markers.....

lol
If only
I dont use the TV much but had it cos I work for Tech Support
I have no idea what is wrong with it, or what they are doing to *fix* it, if they actually realise anything is wrong :/

Unfortunatly it does seem to be a lottery as to if you get a box that works well with the EPG or not. My last box was not too bad, only had to reset once every other day, but the replacement box has to be reset daily.
They should really sort out the main cause but would rather keep replacing boxes in the hope of keeping the customer quiet.

My Connection magically drops once every week or so and on the day it drops it drops twice, once at around 2am and again later on Not good when you run a backup IRC server.

Re: Should I bother calling CS
A lot of people get the 11pm jitters or there abouts. Is the box updating is copy protection. Or so I was told. Also the guide has been gettin worse over the ast couple of weeks. Maybe to do with CR3 coming soon?

Re: Should I bother calling CS
What problem do you have?
The CR3 code you have should have remedied issues with the Guide and 00:10 GMT issue.
If you press help what happens?

i stand corrected
you should move to a langley area and then you can have lovely blue instead, although it is still slow and unreliable
