Upgrading online?

I want to upgrade from 150k to 600k. I have only been with NTL for a couple of months and am on a special offer whereby it's cheap for the first 3 months. However, the speed just isn't fast enough now I'm used to it. I want more!!

Do I just click on whatever is needed online? Then I guess I power down the modem and reset my machine - and is that it? Is it all done within minutes?

Thanks for any answers.

Re: Upgrading online?

Do you have a cable modem or do you get you BB via your set top box? (if you have STB then you can't upgrade online)

Re: Upgrading online?

May be worth doing via the phone anyway just in case you can extract a further "Special" deal same as you got for the 150k service.

You know what they say about you don't get what you don't ask for.

Re: Upgrading online?

Yeah sorry, forgot to mention I'm on cable modem - I don't have any phone contract with them. Just net access. I'll give them a ring.
