External Hard Drive shows so many folders with random number which i can't delete.

I want to know how to get rid of these
i have 20 of them on my external HDD.
You just right click on the file and select "delete file(s) on next boot" from the context menu.

you can't delete on next boot. i right click it only shows delete not next boot.

Perhaps a reboot will show the correct contect menu item...
These permissions are referring to accounts that do not exist on your computer. Most commonly when you take a drive from one computer and use it on another that does not have the same accounts.
If you have administrative rights on the machine then it's easy enough to reset permissions.
Or if you don't have permissions you ought to put the drive back into the computer it was taken from and delete things from there.
