v+ box dying
hi,my v+ box is on it`s last legs, keeps rebooting, lost v+ services and the hard drive is clicking all the time, already rang technical who sent a signal to fix it and it lasted two hours, what i`m wondering is can i bring my normal v box from another room and connect that up instead,my freeview signal is bad so will be without tv,so will it be possible to disconnect my v+ box and connect my normal set top box to at least have something to watch ???

Re: v+ box dying
If your normal V box is registered with working smartcard etc you can put it anywhere that's set up for a set top box. Case in point, my house is wired for three STBs and if I wanted to put the TiVo I have somewhere else in the house hooking it up to one of the other two and letting it load for a few minutes would mean it would work the same as it did in the first place.

Re: v+ box dying
You can move it, but if the cable is faulty you might find you get the same problem with the V-Box too.
Have you reported the fault on the V+ again?
