Im trying to reinstall Windows XP, on booting from the CD, it goes to the "Checking System ..." White on Black Screen and then where it should normally go into the White on Blue Screen for Installation it seems to crash, the screen goes blank. Anyone any ideas?
Have you got anything pluggd into the Mobo that might be tripping the install over? If I recall there is a programme on the CD that checks your hardware config for compatibility. I'd take it down to bog standard hardware and try again.
